Maharashtra Board 12th Exam 2023: Class 12th examinations by the Maharashtra State Board have started from tomorrow i.e. 21st February 2023. Drama has been witnessed on the very first day of the examination. Yesterday, on the very first day, 6 number of wrong questions were printed in the English paper. 3 questions of 2-2 numbers were missing, instead of them model answer-sheets were printed. After this, regarding wrong questions, students and parents are demanding that they should get 6 marks from the board. Parents say that if Maharashtra Board conducts re-examination then students’ time will be wasted. Will have to prepare again and it will affect the future exams.
Around 14.50 lakh students are appearing in the Maharashtra Board exams. There are about 8 lakh students in this, the rest are girl students. At the same time, a case of paper leak has also come to the fore. As soon as the papers were distributed at the Mukutban examination center in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, within 10 minutes it started circulating on people’s mobiles outside. FIRs have been registered against the in-charge of the center and the other two.
Tight security arrangements in Maharashtra Board
Maharashtra Board is running ‘Copy Free Board Exam’ campaign in the state this year. For this, strict security arrangements have been made by the board. This year, video recording is being done through mobile phones for carrying and distribution of question papers from the main centers set up for the board exams to all the exam centres.
GPRS system is being used by the board in vehicles carrying question papers. Also, so that there is no paper leak, by not distributing the question papers ten minutes before the commencement of the examination, the students are being given ten extra minutes at the end of the examination.
In Pathardi, Ahmednagar, the agent collected Rs 70,000 from students and parents in the name of cheating. The parents thrashed the agent for not being able to copy. However, no case was registered in this.
