British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak launched the UK-India Young Professionals Scheme on Wednesday. Under this scheme, Indian students and professionals in the age group of 18 to 30 years will be given 3,000 visas annually to live and work in the UK for up to 24 months. Similarly, British citizens will be given visas to live and work in India. Launching the scheme, the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak described it as a great step to ensure smooth movement of top talent across markets.

How to apply for UK Work Visa?
- To apply for a work visa, one has to go to the official website gov.uk.
- Fill the application form and answer all the questions.
- Pay visa fee online.
- Book an appointment at the Visa Application Centre.
- Pay the health surcharge.
- Save your biometrics (fingerprint and photo) for Biometric Residence Permit.
- Finally submit your application form and save it.

Candidates need to provide their biometrics (fingerprint and facial image) to complete their application. Candidates will have to visit their designated VAC to proceed with the application process.
Eligibility Criteria for UK Work Visa
- Candidate must have a skilled job offer in UK.
- You will work for an approved employer.
- Your job meets the minimum wage requirements.
- You can speak, read, write and understand English.
Documents required for work visa
- Certificate of Sponsorship Reference Number provided by the employer of the candidate.
