In such a situation, the school administration and teachers have to work hard to stop cheating. Keeping this in mind, the Maharashtra Board has started a unique campaign. Actually, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has asked to come up with innovative ideas to prevent incidents like cheating during board exams.
Maharashtra Board has started a competition. During this, suggestions have been sought from students, parents and educational organizations and others on new ways to prevent cheating during the exam. Idea will be implemented in board exam
According to the official notice issued by the board, the ideas which are most innovative, practical and easy to implement will be selected as the winners. Those whose idea will be selected, they will also get its reward. The idea selected in the competition will be adopted during the Maharashtra Board Exam. Maharashtra Board Exams will be conducted in February and March 2023.
A circular issued by Maharashtra State Board Secretary Anuradha Oak states, ‘There are a total of nine divisions through which the Maharashtra State Board Exam is conducted. Based on the uniform guidelines issued by the state board, each division has its own action plan to detect or prevent cheating during exams. For this, coordinated efforts are needed to ensure an inclusive state-level plan.
Maharashtra State Board Chairperson Sharad Gosavi said, “With the changing times, there is a need to come up with a new approach to prevent cheating in board exams, so that injustice is not done to those who are giving the exam through their own efforts.”
