His father was a doctor by profession and mother a housewife. Apart from this, Satyaraj was also the brother of two younger sisters. Sathyaraj always wanted to become an actor. But when her mother came to know about her dream, she was strictly against it. Not only this, he had also stopped his son from coming to the cinema many times. But in his desire to fulfill his dream, the actor also accepted his mother’s displeasure.
In 1976, Sathyaraj left his home to join the Kodambakkam Tamil film industry in Chennai. After years of hard work, Sathyaraj became a big name. He played the role of villain in Tamil films.
