New Delhi: Delhi Court has rejected the bail plea of Omkareshwar Thakur, who created the objectionable app ‘Sully Deals’ related to Muslim women. Omkeshwar Thakur is a resident of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Earlier on Friday, the Delhi Court also approved another similar app. The bail plea of Neeraj Bishnoi, the creator of Bully Bai and the main Twitter account holder of the app, was also rejected.
Omkeshwar Thakur is the main man of this entire app. Actually Omkeshwar Thakur is a student of BCA. He used to do a lot on social media. In 2020, through the Twitter handle @gangescion, he had joined a group called Trade Mahasabha. Discussions took place in this group every day. Meanwhile, a member made a plan to defame Muslim women.
Omkeshwar Thakur then created an app named GitHub. Then he designed the Sully for Sale website. The mastermind used to extract information and personal photos from the Twitter handles of Muslim women and auction them in public. The whole matter came to light when a user shared a picture of the Il app. There were pictures of 90 women from the Muslim community in this picture. It was named the Sully Deal.
When there was protest and uproar on social media regarding this, Vicious deleted the Sulli Deal App from all the places. Also all the evidence was destroyed. Now the police is trying to solve more of this and are looking for more people hidden in this game.
