New Delhi: These days the whole of North India is facing severe winter. According to the Meteorological Department, at present, people are not expected to get relief from this. However, sunshine can be seen in many areas during the day. But cold winds will increase people’s problems. Meanwhile, due to this western disturbance, the weather of many states including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Bihar, West Bengal, Assam took a turn in the past. There is a possibility of scattered rain in these states even today.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the western disturbance, the weather has taken a turn in some states of eastern and central India these days. Due to this, the temperature has dropped along with the rains, but after January 15, once again the western disturbances are going to be active. The effect of which will be visible this time on the states of North India. The Meteorological Department has forecast the weather pattern to remain like this for the next 5 days. From January 17, the sky will be clear with fog and haze.
The falling temperature and increasing cold have started showing their effect in Delhi-NCR. However, the Meteorological Department says that there will not be much change in the temperature in the coming days and gradually there may be relief from cold. Meanwhile, Delhi-NCR is witnessing moderate fog, but light sunshine is going out during the day.
According to the Meteorological Department, from January 16, once again rain is expected in many states of North India along with snowfall. After snowfall and rain in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, people’s problems have increased. Snow has accumulated up to three to four feet in many places. Due to which the difficulties of the people have increased.
Cold wave conditions are likely to persist in many areas including Punjab, North Rajasthan, Haryana and Chandigarh till January 15.
