Scientists exploring the ruins of Lagash in southern Iraq have found an open courtyard, complete with a bench, that archaeologists claim was used as a tavern. Its structure is also very modern, here an oven-like vessel and a conical bowl for cooling the food were found, which may have been working as a refrigerator. The special thing is that the remains of fish have also been found in it. (Photo-AFP)
