New Delhi: Delhi Police sources said members of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang may try to free him from police custody. Sources further said that Lawrence could have fled the country following the path of his brother Anmol Bishnoi.
According to information received from central agencies, if Lawrence gets bail from the court, then there is a high chance of him running away from the country. Meanwhile, jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi revealed during interrogation that 29-year-old Sidhu Moose Wala was forced to sing for his gang. Delhi Police sources said that both the gangsters, Lawrence and Goldie Brar, wanted Moose Wala to sing for them.
Lawrence’s henchmen had also threatened Sidhu Moose Wala several times, due to which he came in contact with the Bambiha gang. Sources said the weapons used in the killing of Sidhu Muse Wala came from the northeastern states and UP.
Sources further said that Lawrence Bishnoi was not directly involved in any murder till date. However, he indulged in ransom and murder plots through his network. After the operation, he changed gangs frequently to maintain his supremacy.
Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Punjab Police probing the broad daylight murder of singer-politician Shubhdeep Singh, popularly known as Sidhu Moose Wala, on Tuesday informed that eight people have been arrested in this case so far.
In an official statement, the SIT said they have been arrested for providing logistic support, conducting recce and sheltering the singer’s shooters.
Police also said that they have identified four shooters who were involved in the murder of the 29-year-old Punjabi singer.
The arrested persons have been identified as Sandeep Singh alias Kekra, a resident of Sirsa in Haryana, Manpreet Singh alias Manna, a resident of Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda, Manpreet Bhau, a resident of Dhaipai, Faridkot, Saraj Mintoo of Dode Kalsia village, Amritsar, Prabhdeep Sidhu alias Pabbi, a resident of Takhat-Mall. happened. Monu Dagar, Pawan Bishnoi and Naseeb of Rewli village of Haryana, Sonipat, Haryana are both residents of Fatehabad, Haryana.
On the other hand, Mumbai Police suspects possible involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the death threats to Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and his father, writer Salim Khan. A team of Mumbai Police is likely to travel to New Delhi to inquire into Bishnoi’s suspected involvement in threatening the Khan family.
