Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that due to change in weather in the last 2-3 days, a decline in pollution levels is being recorded. In view of this, CAQM has withdrawn the restrictions related to GRAP3. According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, if the wind speed decreases in the coming days, the pollution level may increase. Therefore, to ensure that the situation does not worsen, the rules of GRAP1 and GRAP2 will still be applicable in Delhi.
The Environment Minister said that a joint meeting was held with the Environment Department and DPCC in the Secretariat to strictly enforce the restrictions of GRAP 1 and GRAP 2 in Delhi. He said that the Environment Department has issued orders to all concerned departments to prevent pollution. Also, all the teams that were engaged like anti dust campaign team, anti open burning campaign team, PUC checking teams have been asked to continue working with full alertness.
Emphasis on strictly following rules
Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that orders have been given to continue to strictly follow all the rules at the hot spot. Teams have been instructed to continuously monitor. He further said that considering the current pollution situation, GRAP1 and GRAP2 norms will remain in force and there will be continuous monitoring and review by all concerned agencies in Delhi to ensure that the AQI levels do not rise further into the ‘severe’ category. .
Teams deployed at hotspots will continue their work. So that the situation of implementing GRAP III does not arise.
Water Sprinkling, Mobile Anti-SMOG Guns, Mechanical Sweeping, Inspections etc. will continue.
Any construction or demolition more than 500 sq m will have to be registered on the portal.

Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that it is mandatory for construction projects having an area of 500 square meters or more to be registered on the web portal. For this, DPCC has been instructed to run a special campaign. It is important to follow 14 construction rules at all construction sites. Teams will take strict action if the rules are not followed. 591 teams have been deployed for this. Instructions have been given to strictly follow the rules related to deployment of anti-smog guns at C&D construction sites.

611 teams have been deployed under anti open burning campaign. Anti open burning campaign is being run in Delhi from 14th November. Anti open burning campaign will continue till 14th December.
PUC checking
Instructions have been given to strictly follow PUC rules for vehicles and to impose maximum penalty on vehicles causing pollution. For this, 84 teams have been deployed by the Transport Department. Besides, 284 teams of Delhi Police have been deployed. Minister Gopal Rai said that instructions have been given to solve the problem of jam by deploying special teams at the 91 traffic jam points mentioned by the traffic police.
He said that there is an appeal to the people of Delhi that if they see pollution related work anywhere, they should complain about it on the Green Delhi app.
