Delhi Airport but tomorrow on Tuesday Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel caught an Indian traveler going to Dubai allegedly hiding Saudi Riyal worth Rs 41 lakh in lehenga buttons. Giving information about this incident, the officials of the Customs Department said that the passenger was on a SpiceJet flight to Dubai. In one such case, a passenger who returned from Dubai at the Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport in Amritsar was caught with gold worth Rs 65.16 lakh during investigation.
The man was stopped during a security check by security personnel at Terminal-3 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport at 4 am, officials said. Officials further said that the personnel on duty saw suspicious pictures of buttons placed in the passenger’s bag on the X-ray scanner monitor and decided to investigate.

The official said the passenger was de-boarded and handed over to customs officials for further investigation.
Gold worth 65 lakh seized in Amritsar
Similarly, a passenger who came from Dubai on Tuesday was caught with gold worth Rs 65.16 lakh at Amritsar’s Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport. Officials of the Customs Department gave information about this incident.
Officials attached to the Customs Department told about this that the passenger was trying to cross through the Green Channel. A customs spokesman said that when asked whether he was carrying any dutiable or any precious metal, he replied in the negative. He told that on search, about one and a half kilograms of gold was recovered from him.
