If we talk about rain, at present light rain can be seen at some places in Delhi NCR. The remaining light strong winds will still continue. According to Skymet Weather, light rain is possible in Delhi and surrounding states and most areas will remain cloudy.
However, to deal with pollution, the Kejriwal government has also started work on a plan to provide artificial rain across Delhi. But at present no comment has been made regarding its results and to what extent it will prove to be effective. However, according to Skymet Weather, light strong winds will continue in Delhi till 13-14 November, due to which there will be relief from stubble and pollution on Diwali.
Apart from Delhi, there are chances of rain in Punjab-Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, although there is a possibility of light rain at these places and it is likely to remain cloudy. Due to light rain on Friday, there has been a huge drop in day temperature in the capital and surrounding areas. A drop of up to 7 degrees is being seen in the day temperature. The maximum temperature in Delhi came to 22.7 degrees which was around 27-28 degrees. The night temperature was recorded at 16.2 degrees.
