New Delhi: Noor Ahmed, 17, has created a sensation in the Afghanistan cricket team. Debuting against Zimbabwe in the third T20 match played in Harare, Noor took 4 wickets for just 10 runs in 4 overs. Noor Ahmed showed maturity beyond his age in his debut for Afghanistan. This bowler became the ninth bowler in the world to take 4 wickets in the debut match.
Who is Noor Ahmed?
Noor Ahmed, born in January 2005, is a left-arm wrist-spinner. He started performing brilliantly at a very young age. He was on the radar of the biggest franchises in the world. Noor made his first-class and domestic T20 debut in 2019 at the age of 14.

He has already traveled around the world in his cricketing career. Melbourne Renegades in Australia’s Big Bash League, Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League, Galle Gladiators in Lanka Premier League and most recently Gujarat Titans in Indian Premier League.
