New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party has finalized its candidates for 172 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. In the first list of BJP, OBC 22, Upper 21, SC 8 candidates have been included in the list. It is being told that Jat 11, Gurjar 5, Brahmin 7, Rajput 9 have also been given tickets.
BJP MLA from Garh Mukteshwar, Kamal Singh Malik has been given ticket and Harendra Singh has been made the BJP candidate in his place. At the same time, BJP MLA Mahush Goyal’s ticket has also been cut from Khairagarh assembly of Agra, from where Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha will be the new candidate from BJP. Former cricketer Chetan Chauhan’s wife Sangeeta Chauhan’s ticket has also been cut.
In all the five assembly seats of Ghaziabad, BJP has played bets on its old candidates and has not deducted anyone’s ticket.
