Bareilly: A case has been registered against two accused who spread rumors on social media that Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Rajesh Kumar Mishra alias Pappu Bharataul joining SP.
According to the Indian Express, BJP MLA Rajesh Kumar Mishra has filed an FIR against two people for allegedly spreading false information on social media about their joining the Samajwadi Party.
The case was registered on January 10 at Baradari police station in Bareilly.
Baradari SHO Neeraj Malik said that the accused have been identified as Akshay Parmal and Sunny Chauhan. The official said that both are residents of Shahjahanpur. Search for him is going on.

According to the police, the MLA said in his complaint that he was informed by some BJP workers that both the persons were spreading “wrong information” about him, which has created confusion among the people.
The MLA said he was informed that both the accused had said in their WhatsApp status that Swami Prasad Maurya (who had resigned as minister on January 11) and Pappu Bharataul were “welcome in advance”.
Malik said that in another message, the accused had claimed that the MLAs would join the SP.
It is to be known that the Labor and Employment Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government, Swami Prasad Maurya had resigned from the post of minister on January 11. It is being said that Swami Prasad Maurya will join the Samajwadi Party (SP).
