Zimbabwe has made it to the Super-12, showing a great game in the first round of the T20 World Cup 2022. Zimbabwe defeated Scotland by 5 wickets in the match played in Hobart and were knocked out of the T20 World Cup. Scotland, batting first, scored 132 runs in 20 overs and in reply Zimbabwe achieved the target in 18.3 overs. Captain Craig Ervine contributed significantly to Zimbabwe’s victory, who scored 58 runs in 54 balls. Sikander Raza, once again batting brilliantly, scored 40 runs in 23 balls.

But captain Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza put Zimbabwe in the match with a half-century partnership for the fourth wicket. Both of them shared a half-century partnership in 34 balls and both shared a partnership of 64 runs in 43 balls to decide the defeat of Scotland.
