New Delhi: Although Afghanistan’s cricket team is famous for its excellent performance, all-rounders like Rashid Khan are the identity of this team. Rashid Khan has recently returned to the national team from IPL. He has done wonders in the three match T20 series played on Zimbabwe tour. Many youth of his country have taken inspiration from Rashid. Now the team has got a brilliant spinner like Rashid.
We are talking about the charismatic spinner Noor Ahmed, just 17 years old. Noor wreaked such havoc in the third T20 played against Zimbabwe that the batsmen were left standing. Left-arm Noor Ahmed bowled such a deadly ball with his magical wrist spin that he conceded just 10 runs in 4 overs and picked up the wickets of 4 batsmen.
Brilliant spin blown off stump
Noor made his first victim in the sixth ball of the 7th over by scoring 1 run for captain Craig. Noor’s lethal ball spins after taking a hit and hit Craig’s pads. Before the captain could even try to avoid it, the ball blew his senses. Noor made a strong appeal and the umpire raised his finger.
After this, a full of enthusiasm Noor returned in his next over. On the fifth ball of the 9th over, he made 11 runs and bowled the number three batsman Tadiwanase Marumani. Marumani was trying to hit a four on this ball, but he was beaten and the ball went out after hitting the stump with his bat. Noor jumped with joy after picking up two wickets in two overs.
recorded in history
In the 11th over, he again wreaked havoc and on the third ball, wicketkeeper Clive Madande was caught and sent to the pavilion. On the fifth ball of the same over, Noor bowled Donald Tiripano, who had just come to the crease, with a fatal ball. Noor Ahmed created a ruckus in the corridors of cricket by taking 4 wickets in 4 overs. The 17-year-old bowler became the ninth bowler in the world by taking 4 wickets in his T20 debut match. Noor is being called the second Rashid Khan of Afghanistan.
