A bus carrying pilgrims met with an accident in West Nawalparasi district of Nepal. Due to which at least 60 passengers were injured. The bus had 70 pilgrims from PPganj and Campirganj in Gorakhpur district, who were returning from Triveni Dham in Nepal. The incident took place on the Indo-Nepal border, 500 meters away from the Thuthibari border.
With the help of Nepal Police and citizens, the people who fell into the deep gorge were admitted to Prithvi Chand District Hospital in Nawal Parasi district. The District Magistrate of Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh spoke to the officials in Nepal, while officials have been sent to the neighboring country to help the injured. 45 Indian pilgrims injured
Giving information about the case, Nawalparasi District Police Office said that 45 Indian pilgrims out of 60 passengers were injured when the bus fell 10 meters below the road. Maheshpur police told that the injured have been sent to the district hospital in Parsi. He told that the condition of one of the injured is critical and the condition of the other injured is normal. He said that the driver of the bus has also been seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment and investigation into the incident has started.
Four killed in road accident in Telangana
Four people died in a road accident in Telangana’s Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Friday night, while another was seriously injured. All the deceased were photographers and videographers. The police have identified the deceased as Odela Kalyan (28), Kompelli Siva Koti (31), Barry Ramu (32) and Bashabathini Aravind (21), while another person has been identified as Randhir.
