I wish the families of the victims and the injured a speedy recovery. Senegal’s prosecutor said in a separate statement that 38 people had been killed. On the other hand, Public Prosecutor Sheikh Dieng said that this accident happened due to bursting of the tires of the bus full of passengers, after which it collided with the bus coming from the front. Colonel Sheikh Faul, in charge of operations for the West African country’s national fire brigade, had earlier told AFP that 38 people had died and 87 were injured.
